The vocation of Cerema is to provide scientific and technical knowledge and innovative solutions at the heart of territorial projects to improve the living environment of citizens. Cerema is organized with nine complementary fields of action aimed at supporting local players in the realization of their projects, including the environment and transports.
Cerema provides support to cities, departments and regions in terms of engineering and technical expertise, with a view to promoting a transition to a low-resource, low-carbon economy that respects the environment and fairness. It promotes regional, national, European and international standards.
